Ramin Tayani

M.D.

Ophthalmologist & Oculoplastic Surgeon

Dr. Tayani acquired a cosmetic practice for laser hair removal in 2009 and it became Dermabare at Lifetime Athletic. Dr. Tayani is a skilled surgeon and offers cosmetic eyelid surgery, advanced skin resurfacing procedures, and lesion removal. Ramin Tayani, MD is fellowship-trained orbital-facial plastic surgeon who specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and upper face.

At the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Tayani double majored in biology and psychology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the same institution, then completed his Master of Science in health policy and management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Tayani finished an internship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Because of his expertise, Dr. Tayani was accepted into a competitive fellowship program at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he focused on ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Throughout his training, Dr. Tayani also participated in several preceptorship programs with key members of the aesthetics community.

As a graduate from Loma Linda University, in the field of Physical Therapy, and 10 years of experience in outpatient and acute hospital settings I decided to become fully engaged in medical management. I have been the operations manager and administrator of Tayani Institute since it’s establishment in 2000 and of DermaBare Aesthetics since 2007. I strive to continually improve our practices and offer the highest level of service in the industry

I have been with DermaBare since 2006. Prior to working for DermaBare I worked in oncology and in a medical surgical unit from 1992-2003.

Treatments I perform include injections of Botox, Fillers & Kybella. I also treat clients with Alma AFT, Pixel, Clearlift, & NIR, Laser Hair Removal

I love working at DERMABARE and take pride in providing treatments that make my patients feel beautiful and confident. My goal is to provide patients with a natural looking, non-surgical result in a safe and comfortable setting.

Kandy Bouquet

I am a committed, friendly, well-respected Registered Nurse with 20+ years of in-depth, medical and dermatologic knowledge.

I developed my clinical nursing skills with ten years of pediatric experience at five top rated children’s hospitals specializing in the areas of bone marrow transplant, hematology-oncology, medical-surgical and infectious disease.

I have specialized training in aesthetic medicine working with top Beverly Hills plastic surgeons, delivering the highest quality of personalized care. I have also had an integral role in management serving as the Clinical RN Supervisor responsible for the management of an AAAHC accredited surgery center. Additionally, I was Clinical Nursing Director for a publicly traded Medspa location with a history of over 50,000 aesthetic procedures.

I currently also hold a position as a Medical Science Liaison with one of the top aesthetic injectable companies. Prior I worked for ten years as a Clinical Education Specialist for Lumenis Aesthetic teaching their entire line of aesthetic lasers. I am passionate about clinical education and patient safety and demonstrate a high standard of integrity, honesty, loyalty and professionalism.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University and live in South Orange County.

Nika Khoobiyary

Nika is a dedicated Registered Nurse with great attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She is a graduate student at Duke University School of Nursing and passionate about immersing her education and training within the Family Nurse Practitioner program to enhance her aesthetic practice.

Nika is also specialized in cardiology. She continues to diversify her skills within the hospital setting and has spent the past year working as a local travel nurse in Orange County. Nika strives to provide the highest quality of care to all of her patients in addition to following the current best practices.

On her free time, Nika enjoys road biking, snowboarding, and yoga. She is driven by her curiosity and enthusiasm for challenges.

I graduated from West Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have undergone specialized training to become a certified aesthetic nurse. My commitment to ongoing education ensures that I’m well-versed in the latest techniques and technologies in the field of non-surgical aesthetics.

What sets me apart is my personalized approach. I understand that everyone is unique, and so are their aesthetic goals. Whether it’s smoothing wrinkles, enhancing lips, or rejuvenating your skin, I’ll work closely with you to develop a customized treatment plan that aligns with your desires and respects your natural beauty.

Outside of my work as an aesthetic nurse, I’m a beauty enthusiast who stays current with industry trends and innovations. I love working out at the gym, and spending time outdoors with my family.
