The Alma Harmony XL is designed to safely and rapidly rejuvenate the surface of your skin. An intense pulsed light (IPL™) laser sends short, concentrated pulses of light at varying depths to rejuvenate skin one layer at a time. The Harmony XL is a 1540nm fractional resurfacing laser, which means it’s a non-ablative laser. Non-ablative lasers leave your epidermis intact. During the treatment, IPL passes through the outermost layer of your skin, and the layers beneath absorb it as harmless heat. This gentle heat causes contraction, tightening your skin and smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles.

What to expect at your skin-resurfacing treatment
Before your treatment, we apply a numbing cream to keep your skin feeling cool, and give you eye protection to wear. Then you just lie back and relax while the various laser systems do their work.
You might feel a gentle warming sensation, but you shouldn’t feel any pain during your laser resurfacing treatment. Afterward, you could have a little redness and swelling, but it shouldn’t be very noticeable. And you won’t have to take any time off for this cosmetic procedure!
